McDonald’s Safety Recall of STEP-iT Activity Bands (Return for FREE Toy and Yogurt/Apples)

If you purchase Happy Meals or Might Kids Meals from McDonald’s restaurants, you may be interested in this voluntary recall affecting locations in USA and Canada. McDonald’s announced today that they are recalling an estimated 33 million STEP-iT Activity Bands distributed in Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals after receiving customer reports of skin irritations and burns from wearing the band. If you received one of these activity bands, McDonald’s is asking customers to stop wearing them and return to any McDonald’s for a FREE replacement toy and a choice of a yogurt or apple slices.
